WAKE UP!!!

Wake up the dawn is approaching

Never knowing what may be unfolding

For the spirit of the Lord is a waiting

For our spirit to arise and be ready

Arise and allow your soul to be awaken

For you never know which path today you will be taken

Standing bold with your dance you’re proclaiming

That you have risen for a reason and sleep you will not be remaining

Wake up why?

Because as a dancer we are the movement on the wind of the spirit

Our souls have to be awake to hear and to feel

What the Lord sends to his people what he may want to reveal

We have to be alert and awake in order to hear it

Wake up why?

Because we are that light that lights a path way for others to see

The sun in the midst of all the darkness there they may be

Our feet move with the rays of Gods light

Our spirits are ready to dance and take flight

So I say wake up People!

Wake up to the troubles of this world

Wake up take your place

Dance move shout and twirl

Wake up People!

Let your place be known

Take that stand for the Lord

Dance before his throne

Wake up your dance can heal the hurting

The lost are looking to be found

The wounded and waiting to be healed

I don’t care what you do get up dance do something.

Wake up People!

Now is not the time to slumber

To run from your calling

To fall down and take cover

Wake up

These are the words I can hear God yelling

Stop our dance to the devil selling

With our arms lifted and our head held high

Proclaiming that God live rules and reigns on high

Wake up people WAKE UP!!!!!!!!
