Silent Scream

Those nights that you pray and wait pray and wait

For someone to come in a take your pain away

Those times where you walked the floor

Never knowing that something on the other side of the door

Just may have heard your silent scream

Your silent pain that you never thought

Would ever stop or go away

Those times you felt that you could

Never make it another day

Does anyone hear my pain you say?

Tired of smiling on the outside

When inside you’re in the pouring rain

Shh don’t let anyone hear my scream

These are the words that are whispered to me

But without saying a word your hurt was heard

God heard your silent scream

Oh is that not a joy to know even when you’re all alone

God has come in and shown

That he as heard your silent scream

My child you were never alone as he wraps his arms around you

I have been there each and every time you’ve gone through

And although you never knew I head all of your silent screams

Don’t worry it will all soon fade and go away

And you once again will have bigger and brighter days

And no matter what you may say or think

Always remember me

And know that I will always hear your

Silent Scream!
